Helmsman (2 days)

This course covers basic boat handling, engine checks, safety and helmsmanship.

Day Skipper Practical (4 days)

This practical course gives students a chance to part charge on short passages. Course includes pilotage, boat handling, seamanship, navigation and an introduction to night cruising. This course automatically qualifies the holder to the International Certificate of Competence (ICC).

Coastal Skipper Practical Motor Cruising (5 days)

This course consists of Skippered passages, application of theory knowledge, passage planning, pilotage by day and night, blind navigation, boat handling and emergency situations.

Yachtmaster Preparation Course (5 days)

This is the course to prepare you for achieving the Yachtmaster Offshore qualification. Although similar to Coastal Skipper, Yachtmasters are expected to have more practical knowledge and experience as well as excellent crew management skills.
